A Case to Dump IE6

“These are attacks when you visit a Web site, and within seconds, it hacks into your computer and forces it to download viruses,” Soghoian said. “In many cases, people get infected by using out-of-date browsers.”

Twitter 2.0

Botanicalls has developed a tiny moisture sensor attached to a circuit board with an Ethernet port. You stick it in your plant’s soil, and when the moisture levels drop below a certain level, your plant sends you a tweet begging to be watered.

Why Apple Won’t Allow Adobe Flash on iPhone

Don’t hold your breath waiting for the iPhone to support Adobe’s Flash software: Apple’s terms-of-service agreement prohibits it.

‘Obama looks like a terrorist but I’ll vote for him anyway’

David Risner stands puffing on a hand-rolled cigarette, one hand thrust into his camouflage hunting jacket.  “I ain’t gonna lie to you,” he said. “A lot of people around here don’t want Obama because of his colour. And it’s his name that bothers me. It’s Muslim.’” Classic Appalachian.  LOL

Touch Table

This is a pretty cool device that apparently makes musical sounds.  The sound track isn’t the table making the noise, unfortunately.  This one is though.

Free Broadband?

M2Z Networks is pushing the FCC for free broadband access to everyone.  And it looks like they have approval.  Who would need a bloody Sprint plan any more.  Man, I would kick them so quick for a Skype phone, it wouldn’t even be funny.  Would be even better if SKYPE developed a REAL Skype app for the iPhone.  Boy-oh-Boy!

I read this interesting article on Wired yesterday, Microscope-On-a-Chip Is One Step Closer to the Tricorder.  I’m just waiting for the food replicator built in the wall.  Wish.  Tea…Earl Grey…Hot.

USA.gov Redesign

I love this redesign of usa.gov by Andy Rutledge.  It is so true to form, it’s essence truly exemplifies the future progress of our nation from a capitalist, representative democracy to a pure, loving, people centered Marxist state.
